How to Add a Disability Through a Disability Request

The Disabiliy Request system allows you to directly enter disablities into the system inside a student's Disablity Request record. The Disability Request record is submitted by the student and must be already be associated with a exisitng student record before you can add disabilities.

  1. Navigate to the Disability Request table.
  2. Locate a disability request you would like to complete.
  3. Once you have located the student, click on the pencil icon located on the far left side of the student record. This will take you to edit mode.
  4. Inside the record, scroll down to the section Adding Disabilities.
  5. Click on the Add Disabilitiy button. This should open a separate window for adding disablitiy records for a particular student. Using this window add the approriate disabilities from the Disability Request page.

The Disability Request feature ensures that you, the DSP, are responsible for the correct disabilitiy being inputted into the system.
