Delivering high quality braille when and where you need it starts with our highly accomplished, experienced and dedicated braille team but doesn't stop there. We understand the importance of designing creative solutions including strong training partnership with members of the National Prison Braille Network (NPBN) and collaborations with braille organizations like the Braille Authority of North America (BANA).
Braille Production
Our Braille team works with cutting edge technology to be able to produce customized projects to best suit your needs. With staff certified by the Library of Congress, we are able to produce customized projects to fit your needs in literary, computer, foreign language, music, and Nemeth code braille transcription. Braille offers a wide variety of production options, including but not limited to, partial books and chapters or graphics, from both print and electronic text.
Braille Services will provide an estimate quote for production after examining print materials and transcription requirements. Once the quote is accepted, Braille staff will provide you with expected production date and preferred method of delivery.
Braille Digital Library
The Braille library of textbooks and print materials contain previously transcribed braille, to help you save time and money. You can search the Braille Library to see if your materials have already been produced.
PROFITT
Providing Real Opportunities for Income Through Technology (PROFITT) is a comprehensive prison curriculum teaching the specialized, in-demand skill of literary Braille transcription to offenders slated for impending release and return to the workforce.
