An Academic Accommodation Plan (AAP) is a required document established by the Chancellor’s office in response to Title V changes by the California Legislature. The AAP records critical information about a student’s disabilities, educational limits and accommodations. Within SAM, there is a table just for AAP documentation. To print a Student’s AAP:
- Navigate to the Student table located on the far left side of the menu bar.
- Use the search bar above the list of students to search for the student you wish to print an AAP letter from.
- Once you have located the student, click on the eye icon located on the far left side of the student record.
- You should be directed to the main student record page. Scroll to the Academic Accommodation section.
- In this section, there should be a table that list the student’s AAP.
- If you do not see any items on this table, this means there are no AAP records associated with that student.
- Select the AAP record you wish to print. This should take you to the main AAP record page.
- On the bottom of this page is a Print AAP button. Click on this button to generate a finalized AAP form.
- Depending on your browser, you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+ P (windows) or Command+P (Mac) to print.
