CIDI is located at 512 Means St NW, in Atlanta, GA. Our parking can be confusing, but it is free! Here are some instructions to help. 

If you are coming from the east (Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd):

1. Turn left at the traffic light of Marietta Street and Means Street located at the Salvation Army Thrift Store.
2. Continue to follow Means Street to the right to the stop sign. The Atlanta Contemporary Art Gallery will be directly on the right.
3. Directly in front will be the entrance to the parking lot for the complex. Please let the security guard know you are expected at CIDI.
4. Drive forward and to the left, and park where spots are available. Our building, 512, is the furthest down to the left.

If you are coming from the west (Northside Drive):

1. You can either turn right at the traffic light at the intersection of Marietta Street and Means Street OR turn right just past the post office onto Bankhead Street. This is a kind of “dog leg” turn, but it is a one-way street so there is no worry for oncoming traffic.
2. Continue straight. Directly in front will be the entrance to the parking lot for the complex. Please let the security guard know you are expected at CIDI.
3. Drive forward and to the left, and park where spots are available. Our building, 512, is the furthest down to the left.

The rectangle on the corresponding map outlines our parking lot. The entrance is labeled ‘Entrance’ with an arrow at the corner of Bankhead Ave NW and Means St NW. Please drive past the guard shack at the entrance, and you can park anywhere in that lot. CIDI is located at the 512 building and it is marked with a star on the map. Across from the entrance of the 512 building, there are several accessible spots. Note: Please do not park anywhere outside of our lot as you could potentially park in a tow zone.

Best Option: MARTA West Rail Line → Bankhead Station

512 Means St NW is in the West Midtown / Marietta St Artery area. The closest MARTA rail station is Bankhead on the West Rail Line (Green Line). Here's how to get there:

1. Take the Green Line westbound toward Bankhead Station (the western terminus).
2. Exit at Bankhead Station — this is the end of the line, so you can't overshoot it.
3. From Bankhead, 512 Means St NW is about 0.9 miles east — roughly an 18–20 minute walk, or a very short ride-share.

If you're coming from the Red/Gold Line (e.g., from the airport, Buckhead, or Midtown):

Transfer at Arts Center or Midtown Station to connect to the Green Line westbound toward Bankhead.

Via bus

Several routes go by CIDI, including routes 50, 51, and 26. Please use the MARTA app to find the route that will work best for you.
