How to Add/Remove Accommodations from Student's Test Request

Sometimes you may want to remove accommodations a student is requesting if they do not qualify for those accommodations. You can edit the accommodations the student has requested before SAM sends an email to the professor. This action is useful only for students “waiting for DSP approval."

  1. Go to the Test table located on the Menu bar.
  2. The second group of records should have the status Waiting for DSP Approval. Click on the pencil icon to the far left of the record you wish to approve.
  3. Under the Requested Accommodations section, the dropdown labeled Student’s Requested Accommodations is editable. You can select accommodations you wish to include and uncheck illegitimate ones.
  4. Click the green Save & Close button to save the record.

Once you have changed the student's requested accommodations accordingly, you can now approve the student's request with confidence.
